He lifted up and put his head on his hand so he could look at her. "Remind me next time to give you something to hold on to. Something other than my hair, or what I have left of it."

She squeezed her eyes shut, remembering how she'd tortured him. "Sorry."

"Are you? Really?"

A quick peek made her waffle on her answer. Whatever he planned looked like it would be fun.

He sat up, grabbed her underneath her knees and lifted her legs in the air. "Are you?" he asked again.

"I'm not sure."

"Hmmm." He kept her legs up as he maneuvered around, then pushed them even higher on her chest. A second later, she felt a sharp slap on her butt, making her squeal. "Hey!"

His hand, the one that had just slapped her, was rubbing her now. The ache was turning into a surprisingly pleasant warmth. "Hey," she said, again, only this time, she wasn't complaining.

"I knew there was a wild woman in there," he murmured. He put her legs down and came back up to join her. "You might fool all of them, Ms. Jones, but I see the animal in you. I see it when you don't think anyone's watching."

"Really? I don't think so."

He ran the back of his fingers down her cheek. "Oh, yeah. It's there. You've just been caged for a long, long time."

Unexpected tears came to her eyes and she quickly blinked them back. She wasn't even sure why his words affected her. They were in bed. That was another lesson she'd learned—men say all kinds of things without their pants on, and woman would be well advised to listen with half an ear.

He kissed her again, lightly at first, then deeper, with a clear message that the talking was over. His hand went to her breasts, teasing one nipple then the other. He stopped, but only to bring her hand to his cock.
